Problematic About Mutual Fund Access

Today, we’ll just tackle about the letter sent by Mr. Robert Sanchez with his query about Mutual Fund Access. Thanks for bringing this up coz it will surely help other readers about this hindrance in investing.

I must say that I was in the same shoe as Mr. Robert Sanchez about 2 years ago. Having read about the idea and benefits of saving and investing in Mutual Fund, but found no venue to do the investing, it was really irritating knowing that you could’ve started earlier but no means of getting any help or sad to say, doesn’t really know where to get the necessary information.

So here goes the letter of Mr. Robert Sanchez.

Mutual Fund Performance in the Phils 2008 2nd Quarter

If there’s such a time which is best time to invest in mutual fund, I’d say this is one of the best time to really get into mutual funds. You must be sayin’ “Are you nuts? With the worldwide depression and all time high cost of oil products, mutual funds and stocks must be way way down during this time.”

I’d say, yes, mutual funds like stock markets are way way down these days, which makes it a really really good time in investing. Why? Simply because it can never go much lower. The only tendency is to go up, which is a natural law. Anything that goes up, will go down. And anything that goes down, will eventually go up.

I got this article from ABS-CBNnews.com and thought that its interesting enough to share to the readers of this blog. My First Adsense Earning

This post is a sequel from my previous post How to Earn Extra Money from Blogging.

Last May 30, 2008, I’m sure I’m not the only one who received their monthly payout from Google thru its program Google Adsense. With Google Adsense, ordinary bloggers like me, have the opportunity to earn thru its pay-per-click program (PPC). Meaning, by putting Google Adsense script thru blogs like this, an equivalent earning is reflected when someone clicks on the advertisements.

Cost of College Education in the Philippines

I’ve been trying to write something about Educational Plan or something like Importance of Educational Plan way back I started this blog. But somehow, I couldn’t get to start coz I’m missing some important data that would make this article worth reading. And that important data are current rates / tuition fees in the Philippine Universities and Colleges nowadays.

Coincidence as it may seem, but on May 26, 2008 - Monday, one of the news that caught my eye in the Philippine Daily Inquirer is

adsenseLast May 19, 2008, Monday, I was in the province. I was watching TV Patrol while having dinner. My wife with my mother in law, went to the terrace after they’ve finished their food. In the news segment showbiz balita of TV Patrol, the topic was about RR Enriquez to Cover the Maxim Philippines for June edition. On the top of my head, I knew this girl coz I have actually posted her photos in my blog Pinay Celebrity Photos and Videos. So nothing special. When is the Right Time to Save?

Knowing the importance of Saving and Planning, the next question would be, when is the right time to save? The best answer would be NOW!

Spending is a habit, so is Saving. If we could only have the discipline to save while the sun is up, then I’m sure that we’ll have more than enough when the rain starts to pour down. Take it from the children story of the ants. All they do is save, save, save. So that when winter comes, they don’t need to look for food cause they’ve save enough. For humans, we can elevate this habit. Instead of save, save, save, we can add the invest at the end. So it becomes, save, save, invest. This way we only not utilize the power of Time but the power of Compounding Interest as well.
