This is another article I got from Kerygma November Issue. It’s so timely that I can’t help the urge to share it to everyone else. Here it goes.
With the economic condition being what it is, what is worth spending for or buying on the cheap side? Here’s the guide to buying various wardrobe items:

It’s another end of the month and what bloggers expect at the end of each month? Adsense payout of course. After my 2nd adsense payout post, my apologies that I wasn’t able to write about it. Maybe I was too busy then. Maybe I was frustrated with the recent outcome. Maybe I was just too lazy to write anything. But as they say, it’s better late than never so let me fill in those shortcomings by writing not only the 3rd, but also the 4th and 5th adsense payout I got.

It’s already the last week of October and November is just a few days away. And what comes after November? Christmas, of course (that’s December). And what’s about Christmas that almost every working person likes? You guessed it right, 13th month pay and other bonuses.
Back when I was a child, I really loved it when Christmas is just around the corner. I dunno, but from where we live in Bulacan (we live in the farm that is), months before Christmas, you can easily tell that it’s near because of the cool breeze during ‘Ber’ months. So by the time December 25 comes, its like almost freezing in the morning. (I exaggerate a bit there, hehe).

Let me share you what I just tried tonight that saved me around P80 on regular load. Since I’m using a prepaid cellphone, its a usual routine for me to run to any autoloading station whenever I run out of prepaid load. But this time, it’s different. I tried Globe’s convert Gcash to Load.
I’ve been receiving this alert from Globe for sometime that you can have a rebate of 15% when you use Globe’s Gcash and convert it to regular load. This is how it is done.

Compared to last year’s Richest Filipinos list (Top 15 Richest Filipinos), this year’s Top 40 Richest Filipinos is said to be poorer by 18%. This is due to the financial crisis that we are experiencing right now which originated from the word’s richest economy - US.
But surprisingly, Henry Sy, (this year’s wealthiest Filipino) is richer by less than $2 billion compared to his last year’s worth of $1.7 billion in 2007. He is now followed by Lucio Tan from last year’s no. 3 spot poorer by $0.1 billion. On no. 3 spot is last year’s richest, Jaime Zobel De Ayala from $2 billion last year, but due to the crisis has only a net worth of $1.2 billion this year.

I once read an article saying that how much money one must have to be considered Rich? It made me think for a while. Considering that when you talk to someone and ask them, are you rich? One answer is always present. I’m not. But in reality, everyone wishes to be rich, including me of course. But how much money should I accumulate so that I can consider myself as rich or wealthy?

His/her name is Tani Rogers which later we found out is an OFW working in the Middle East. Good to know that we are getting audience from these group of people coz we really feel that this could make a big difference if most OFW will learn about Financial Planning.

The Search Engine Marketing Conference 2008 will take place this year on September 9-10, 2008 at the Hotel Intercontinental, Makati City. It aims to educate the not-so-techy people and even the techy ones with the current status of the growing search industry. Topics range from search engine optimization, search engine marketing, pay-per-click, analytics and almost anything related to having a website and how you can promote and even earn from it. I’m sure they prepared another very good line-up of speakers this year. If you happen to be in the web industry or a website owner, you really should attend this. You may register at this link.

I hope Bro. Bo Sanchez wouldn’t mind reposting this story. I was so moved that I can’t help but to share this to other people. Enjoy.
It all started when my plane to Cebu was delayed by 5 hours.
While my fellow-passengers around were acting like enraged volcanoes spewing lava, cursing the catastrophe that befell upon us—I smiled and closed my eyes. Instantly, I felt peace. I whispered, “Lord, you have a special surprise in store for me.”
